To listen to Doug Frasher (pronounced “Frasier”) talk about automobile design is to hear his passion for his work. The Chief Designer, Advance Concept Design uses words like, “mystical,” “sensitivity,” and “emotion,” to describe the design process. As he speaks, he shapes the air with his hands, as if to bring to life the concepts in his mind. It’s clear that his passion is part of what brought the Volvo S80 to life.
